Minimal Materials List

Paints: a total of 8 tubes of Cotman watercolors. 3 yellows: Lemon, Cadmium & Raw Sienna, 2 reds: Alizarin Crimson & Cadmium, 2 blues: Ultramarine & Cerulean plus Payne’s Grey

Brushes: One medium sized Chinese calligraphy brush OR 1- round (#6, 8 or 10)Princeton Art brand is a good, 1- flat(1-1/4”), 1- rigger (medium).

Paper: small (8x10” or 9x12”) block Arches (brand) watercolor paper, 140 lbs. or heavier

Pens: permanent ink pens (sharpies, microns or Faber –Castell), with 3-4 different nib sizes, 03-08.

What else: masking fluid, pencil & eraser, palette, 1-sketch/note pad, natural Sponge, Spray bottle, Masking tape, water jar, image file, black or brown ink.
